Content Publishing 2025: What does omnichannel really mean?

Things are changing. Back in the days, web pages with flexible content were the new channel. Then we talked about multichannel – social media, websites, video and so on. The latest buzzword is omnichannel, but things are moving so fast I’d like to stop for a second and discuss what significant trends and shifts are going on and where all this might lead. As the saying goes, "if you have to manage and output content, TYPO3 is for you." But what will managing and delivering content really mean in 2025? Looking at the situation today, we have different forms of content such as AR, VR, print and of course “something with blockchain” :) But more importantly, the very nature of content is changing: for example, it is not only produced for humans anymore but for various machines as well. So, let’s enter the time machine and dive into the content world of the year 2025!
