8 years ago Richard started to work with TYPO3 as a PHP-developer. He is working as a TYPO3 developer and development lead at MaxServ in the Netherlands on several large and scalable TYPO3 installations. He became a real “TYPO3-addict” and is a certified TYPO3 editor, integrator, developer and consultant and is giving talks about TYPO3 on several events and is doing core contributions more and more. As part of his job at MaxServ, Richard got interested in SEO more and more. When MaxServ and Yoast (you maybe know them from the number 1 WordPress SEO plugin) had decided to work together on a Yoast SEO for TYPO3 and Yoast SEO for Magento plugin, Richard became the main developer of the TYPO3 plugin. Now over 2 years later, Richard is lead of the SEO initiative for TYPO3 core and is working with several other people on making it easier for editors and developers to create search engine friendly websites with TYPO3.
